You may use Wolense for:

Understanding algorithmic influences on your child's development
Identifying concerning patterns in recommended content
Making informed parenting decisions based on analysis
Having constructive conversations with your child about digital influences
2. Professional Support Services
Licensed therapists, counselors, or educators using reports (with parental consent)
Schools or educational institutions analyzing student digital environments (with parental consent)
Healthcare professionals incorporating reports into treatment plans (with parental consent)
3. Personal Educational Use
Learning about how social media algorithms work
Understanding digital influence patterns
Researching algorithmic impacts on development (for personal knowledge)
4. Appropriate Data Submission
Submitting data only for children under your legal guardianship
Providing accurate, unaltered data exports from social media platforms
Following our data export instructions
Prohibited Uses
Absolutely Forbidden Activities
You may NOT use Wolense for any of the following purposes:
1. Unauthorized Surveillance or Monitoring
Prohibited:
Analyzing data for children who are not under your legal guardianship
Monitoring other people's children without parental consent
Spying on adults, partners, or ex-partners
Stalking, harassing, or tracking any individual
Using reports to control, manipulate, or punish children
Why This Matters: Wolense is designed for understanding and guidance, not surveillance. Using our service to monitor individuals without proper authority violates privacy rights and potentially breaks laws.
2. Harmful or Abusive Conduct
Prohibited:
Using reports to emotionally abuse, shame, or humiliate children
Sharing reports publicly to embarrass or harm children
Using analysis to facilitate child abuse, neglect, or exploitation
Weaponizing reports in custody battles (without court order)
Retaliating against children for content in their feeds
Why This Matters: Our service is meant to help parents understand and support their children, not to harm them. Abusive use violates our core mission and potentially violates child protection laws.
3. Fraudulent or Deceptive Practices
Prohibited:
Providing false information during registration or use
Submitting altered, fabricated, or corrupted data for analysis
Falsely claiming to be a parent or guardian
Creating multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions or pricing
Sharing accounts or credentials with others
Using stolen payment methods or credit cards
Why This Matters: Fraud undermines our service, harms other users, and potentially breaks laws.
4. Resale or Commercial Exploitation
Prohibited:
Reselling Wolense reports to third parties
Operating a business based on our reports without written authorization
Copying, reproducing, or distributing our reports commercially
Reverse engineering our algorithms or analysis methods
Creating derivative works based on our platform or reports
Permitted with Authorization:
Licensed professionals (therapists, counselors) using reports as part of paid services (with our written consent and client consent)
Why This Matters: Our intellectual property is protected. Unauthorized commercial use violates copyright and trademark laws.
5. Technical Abuse or Hacking
Prohibited:
Attempting to access other users' accounts or data
Hacking, attacking, or compromising our systems or infrastructure
Using automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access or extract data
Attempting to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble our software
Introducing viruses, malware, or malicious code
Denial-of-service attacks or attempts to overwhelm our systems
Circumventing security measures or access controls
Why This Matters: Technical abuse threatens the security and privacy of all users and is illegal under computer fraud laws.
6. Unlawful Activities
Prohibited:
Any activity that violates federal, state, or local laws
Violating children's privacy laws (COPPA, GDPR, etc.)
Violating computer fraud and abuse laws
Violating wiretapping or electronic surveillance laws
Violating copyright, trademark, or intellectual property laws
Using our service to plan, facilitate, or commit any crime
Why This Matters: We will cooperate with law enforcement investigations of illegal activity. Criminal conduct may result in prosecution.
7. Misuse of Reports
Prohibited:
Publishing reports publicly without written authorization (social media, blogs, forums)
Sharing reports with third parties without legitimate need-to-know
Using reports as evidence in legal proceedings without proper legal process
Altering or modifying reports (changing findings, removing branding, etc.)
Claiming authorship of reports or analysis
Using reports to defame, harass, or harm individuals
Permitted:
Sharing reports with therapists, counselors, educators directly involved in child's care (with consent)
Using reports in private conversations with co-parents about child's wellbeing
Providing reports to legal counsel for attorney review (protected by attorney-client privilege)
Why This Matters: Reports contain sensitive information about minors and must be handled responsibly to protect children's privacy.
8. Discrimination or Hate
Prohibited:
Using our service to facilitate discrimination based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any protected characteristic
Posting or submitting content that promotes hate, violence, or discrimination
Using reports to justify or promote bigotry
Why This Matters: We have zero tolerance for discrimination and hate. Such conduct violates our values and potentially violates civil rights laws.
Reporting Violations
If You Witness a Violation

We will investigate all reports and take appropriate action.
If You Experience Harm
For child safety emergencies:
Call 911 (United States) or your local emergency services
Contact National Child Abuse Hotline: 1-800-422-4453
Report to local law enforcement or child protective services
For other harm:
Contact appropriate authorities (police, cybercrime units, etc.)
Report to abuse@wolense.com so we can assist investigation
We cooperate fully with law enforcement investigations.
Consequences of Violations
Enforcement Actions
Depending on the severity and nature of the violation, we may:
Warning:
First-time, minor violations may receive a warning
You'll be notified of the violation and required to cease the prohibited activity
Account Suspension:
Temporary suspension (7-30 days) for moderate violations
Access to your account and reports will be blocked during suspension
Payment obligations continue during suspension (no refunds)
Account Termination:
Immediate and permanent termination for serious violations
All data and reports deleted
No refunds issued
You may be permanently banned from creating new accounts
Legal Action:
We reserve the right to pursue legal action for violations, especially:
Fraud or theft
Hacking or security breaches
Harm to children
Violations of intellectual property rights
Criminal conduct
Cooperation with Authorities:
We will report illegal activity to law enforcement
We will cooperate with subpoenas, court orders, and government requests
We will preserve evidence of violations as required by law
Investigation and Due Process
Our Investigation Process
When we receive a violation report or detect suspicious activity:
1. Initial Review (24-48 hours)
Evaluate the report or detected activity
Determine if investigation is warranted
Take immediate protective measures if needed (account suspension, data preservation)
2. Investigation (5-10 business days)
Review account activity, logs, and evidence
Contact you for explanation (if appropriate)
Determine if violation occurred
3. Resolution
Issue warning, suspend, or terminate account as appropriate
Notify you of decision and reasoning
Preserve evidence for potential legal action
4. Appeal (if applicable)
You may appeal termination decisions within 30 days

Explanation of why you believe termination was in error
Any supporting evidence
We will review appeals within 10 business days
Our decision on appeals is final
Your Rights During Investigation
We may suspend your account during investigation to prevent further harm
You will be notified of suspension (unless notification would compromise investigation or violate law)
You may provide your side of the story
We will consider your explanation before making a final decision
Limitations
We are not obligated to:
Provide detailed evidence against you (may compromise other users' privacy)
Delay action if immediate harm is occurring
Offer unlimited appeals or negotiations
Provide refunds for violations of this AUP
User Responsibilities

Follow all applicable laws and regulations
Stay informed of policy updates
2. Use Good Judgment
Consider the spirit of our policies, not just the letter
Ask us if you're unsure whether something is permitted (support@wolense.com)
Err on the side of caution and respect for others' privacy and rights
3. Report Violations
Report violations you witness to abuse@wolense.com
Cooperate with investigations if contacted by us
Do not take matters into your own hands (no vigilante justice)
4. Protect Your Account
Keep your login credentials secure
Don't share your account with others
Notify us immediately of unauthorized access (security@wolense.com)
5. Use Responsibly
Use reports constructively to help your child, not harm them
Respect children's dignity and privacy
Seek professional help when needed (therapists, counselors)
Special Considerations
Professional Users (Therapists, Counselors, Educators)
If you use Wolense in a professional capacity:
Obtain explicit parental consent before accessing reports
Comply with your professional ethics codes and licensing requirements
Maintain appropriate confidentiality
Use reports as clinical tools, not diagnostic instruments

Institutional Users (Schools, Organizations)
If you represent a school or organization:
Obtain explicit parental consent for each student/child analyzed
Comply with FERPA and other applicable education privacy laws
Implement appropriate data governance policies

Updates to This Policy
We may update this AUP to reflect:
New use cases or service features
Emerging threats or abuse patterns
Changes in applicable laws
User feedback and lessons learned
Notice of Updates:

Material changes communicated via email to account holders
Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance
